Do not feed the Deviljho

This is Deviljho, my favorite Monster Hunter monster ever. The embodiment of hunger itself. This took me around 5 hours in all and I'm quite happy with the outcome. Monster Hunter 3G and the 3DS

Now that I've had adequate time on Monster Hunter 3G, I want to express some of my thoughts on both the series and the choice of platform. I've been a Monster Hunter fan for a very long time and will always continue to follow the series. It's the only series in this day and age I can put a lot of time in to and come out feeling highly satisfied, but even after doing most of what you can do in the games, I always pick them back up to play whether I'm on the go or just want to have a quick, fun fight. While I love the console iterations, the handheld iterations will forever hold a soft spot for the ease of getting on and getting into the action.

Cello's are Beautiful

I've found myself getting back into Apocalyptica recently. Don't see how I lived without them for so long. They are absolutely incredible. Headphones in bed, nothing but the sound of the Cello and a good time to get my thoughts straightened out.

Happy New Year!

Goodbye 2011! Hello 2012, hopefully a better year all around. 2011 was a roller-coaster ride of a year, although I can't help for feel the downs overwhelmed the ups at times. The year ended about as well as it could have done and I'm so grateful to my friends and family for keeping it up during the end of the year. Spending the switch-over from 2011 to 2012 cuddled up to my best friend was far more than I could have ever asked for, and the Halo co-op fest was quite the nostalgia hit, surprised how much I actually remember about the game.

All credit for the picture goes to damaciel on deviantART. Beautiful oriental style painting.

Friendship

With Christmas literally just around the corner, I want to make a post about the thing that means so much to me that I can't even justify it in words, but I'll damn well try my hardest.

A Fanboy of Epic Proportions

My Monster Hunter 3G 3DS arrived from Japan and it is beautiful. Time to play until my eyes explode.
